Macedonian movies won four awards at the Sarajevo Film Festival – three of them for the movie 17 by Kosara Mitic. She won a special award for gender equality, the Cineuropa Prize and Eva Kostic won the best actress award.
Meanwhile, Dina Duma’s film Skateboarding is not for girls won the Special Youth Perspectives Award.
The four awards confirm the quality, power of the authors and the international potential of the contemporary Macedonian cinematography, said the Film Agency, which supported the projects, in a statement.
