Macedonian citizens find it much easier to travel across Europe and the world, after a total of 28 new destinations were added to the Skopje and Ohrid airports, said VMRO-DPMNE in a statement.
Skopje got new links to Paris, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Ljubljana, Cologne, Budapest and other destinations across Europe. Ohrid expanded its links to Istanbul, Basel, Larnaca, Madrid, Stockholm, Bratislava and Vienna, among others.
Better ties are important for the economy. A greater number of direct lines contributes to the development of tourism, especially in Ohrid, and helps better connect domestic companies with foreign partners and markets, said the party in its statement.
