Average salary goes up by 7.2 percent

The average net salary paid in Macedonia in February rose to 46.159 denars – which is a 7.2 percent increase compared to last year.

The State Statistics Bureau found that the salaries rose highest in the administration and services sector (12.3 percent) and in mining – 9.4 percent.

Reduction in wages was recorded in farming (5.7 percent) and art and leisure (4.6 percent).
