The Government has extended the measure to reduce the Value Added Tax (VAT) on diesel from 18% to 10%, as well as the measure to reduce fuel excise duties, until November 2, 2026, announced Minister of Finance Gordana Dimitrieska-Kochoska on Facebook.
As the Minister noted, this measure helps to alleviate price pressures on retail fuel costs and reduces the financial burden on citizens and the business sector. “We continue to closely monitor developments in international markets and take timely measures to protect the standard of living and preserve economic stability,” the Minister of Finance stated.
