A total of 13 fires have been registered in Macedonia today early afternoon, of which five are active, six are under control and two are extinguished, the Crisis Management Center (CUK) announced.
The active fires are in the stretch between the villages of Gracani and Nikistani in Gjorce Petrov, while also expanding into the territory of Kosovo; near the village of Belica in the municipality of Makedonski Brod; in the area of the village of Podgorci in the municipality of Struga; in the settlement of Bedinje in Kumanovo and in the locality of Cavkarnik above Mavrovo in the municipality of Mavrovo-Rostuse.
The fires between the villages of Burinec, Lokov and Selci near Struga, the village of Breznica near Makedonski Brod, in the area of the village of Kopanica in the municipality of Saraj, near the locality of Ramno in the municipality of Cucer-Sandevo, as well as the fires at the landfills in Kratovo and Delcevo are under control.
Meanwhile, the fires near the village of Crveni Bregovi in the municipality of Negotino and on “Pero Nakov” street in the municipality of Gazi Baba have been extinguished.
