Opera singer Riste Velkov, his son Adam and two other young men – Marko Gjorgjievski and Petar Milanov – were killed in a devastating accident at the Skopje ringroad today.
An elderly Albanian truck driver, who was operating a vehicle at 76 years of age, drove into the opposite side of the two lane road, crushing through the protective barrier, and hit the vehicle the four men were in. Velkov was 51 and his son and the other two victims were in their 20ies.
