Mickoski agrees with vetting public officials, asks SDSM why they deleted criminal articles to prosecute them?

In an interview with Alsat M, Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski commented on the opposition leader Venko Filipche’s call for vetting of public officials. Mickoski indicated that he has no issue with that request; in fact, he said, if they wish, it could even be extended to include family members and—if necessary—the use of polygraph tests. The Prime Minister pointed out that he and his family had already undergone thorough vetting during the tenure of the SDSM and DUI government and their political abuse of the investigative institutions.

But that is not the point. First, we need to answer a question: if they believed in vetting, why did they amend the Criminal Code using the “European flag” procedure and delete Article 353? If they are such staunch Europeans and honest politicians, why did they do that? I am simply raising a moral dilemma. You go public—”vetting,” a nice word, “vetting”—thinking you will impress the citizens. No. You need to answer a simple question: why did you amend the Criminal Code to grant yourselves political amnesty if you believed in the rule of law? And finally, you need to explain how one obtains a “golden visa” in Dubai? I have no problem with it, but let us first answer this: how do teenagers become owners of shopping malls? Let’s answer that first, emphasized Prime Minister Mickoski during his appearance on Alsat M television last night.
