Economic cooperation, regional development, and Macedonia’s European integration were the topics of today’s meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Aleksandar Nikoloski and the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia, Nives Tiganj.
According to the Ministry of Transport, the two officials highlighted opportunities to enhance economic and trade cooperation—given the traditionally good relations between the two countries—and to foster further connections between companies. Regarding infrastructure development, the Minister reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to implementing infrastructure projects, placing special emphasis on capital investments and their impact on regional development, improved connectivity, and the creation of conditions for economic growth.
“Croatia remains an important partner and supporter of Macedonia’s European path, as well as the reform processes underway in the country. Both sides expressed readiness to enhance cooperation in areas of mutual interest, in the spirit of the traditional friendship and partnership between the two nations,” the statement reads.
