Safe City becomes operational in Veles

The Interior Ministry informs the public that, starting Saturday, the Safe City traffic camera system will be operational in the area covered by the Veles police sector. The Ministry adds that, following technical checks and final testing, the system’s cameras will be activated on roadways within the Veles jurisdiction.

Activation of the system will enable enhanced and continuous traffic monitoring, the timely detection of traffic violations, improved traffic discipline, and greater road safety. The Ministry of Internal Affairs urges all drivers to strictly observe traffic rules and regulations and to contribute to improved traffic safety through responsible behavior.
