The anti-monopolly commission (KZK) fined today four retailers and the Association of Chambers of Commerce (SSK) for coordinating their prices.
According to the findings of the commission, the four retailers and representatives from the SSK chamber met in early February and reached an agreement not to accept new increases from their suppliers. This restricted competition in the retail market.
The fines amount to 50,000 EUR for each of the retailers and 17,000 EUR for SSK.
