Protest for women’s rights in Skopje

Hundreds of citizens marched today in downtown Skopje on the International Women’s Day. The march was dedicated to the fight against violence on women, and it comes days after an abused wife and mother killed herself and her child.

Not a single one more, the protesters chanted and wrote on their signs. Other protest signs included calls for end to discrimination of women, equal rights and end to economic disparity.
