Mickoski: more than 1,200 local projects are being implemented

Macedonia has currently been turned into a large construction site, and that was the goal of this Government when it was elected, so we will continue in that direction, said Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski today, adding that over 1,200 local projects are being implemented across the country.

For next year, through ZELS, we encourage mayors to prepare projects depending on the possibilities for financing. Also, as Government, we plan to decentralize some of the funds from the central budget to the municipalities so that even more projects can be implemented, the Prime Minister pointed out as he attended the opening of the new sports hall in the “Krume Kepeski” school in Kisela Voda.

Once again, congratulations to the Mayor for her dedicated work, to all those in the Council who support her work, and of course to the administration, without which all these projects would be impossible to implement. I would also like to thank the Minister of Education, as well as my colleagues from the Government who are also bringing this project for financing projects from the Government to the municipalities. May a large number of athletes, successful national team players and representatives come out of this hall, who will defend the colors of Macedonia with pride, dignity and successful results, said Mickoski.
