Nikoloski: strong progress on the Ohrid – Kicevo highway

Deputy Prime Minister and Transportation Minister Aleksandar Nikoloski, along with the director of the Macedonian Roads company Koce Trajanovski, met today with the workers and engineers on the Ohrid-Kicevo highway.

The meeting was held at the camp in Izvor, where the progress of the works and the implementation of the tasks on one of the most important road sections in the country were reviewed. Nikoloski informed that the construction continues with strong dynamics and that in parallel, work is being done to solve the complex engineering problems that arise during the implementation.
We are working with strong dynamics and solving complex engineering problems. Strong coordination and strong dynamics on the ground, Nikoloski emphasized.

According to him, the highway is being built according to the planned dynamics, and all complex tasks are being implemented through constant coordination between the Ministry of Transport, the Public Enterprise for State Roads and the contractors.
The working meeting on the field, as can be concluded from the announcement, is part of the continuous monitoring of the project’s implementation and coordination between the institutions and companies involved in the construction.

Nikoloski emphasized that the focus remains on maintaining the strong momentum of the works and timely resolution of engineering challenges in order for the construction of the Ohrid-Kicevo highway to continue as planned.
