Retailers will offer cheaper school products in September

A draft decision has been prepared to introduce a basket of school related goods which, in consultations with wholesale and retail companies, will provide cheaper goods to the families in September, the Ministry of Economy and Labor informed today. According to the proposal, the school basket will be offered with a discount of up to 15 percent, and the composition and final price of the products in it will differ from retailer to retailer, depending on the selection, quality and brand of the products.

The products will be clearly marked and placed in a visible place. In this way, parents will have full information in advance about what the package will contain and what its price will be. The discount of up to 15 percent will be calculated directly at the cash register and will be shown on the fiscal receipt, the Ministry of Economy and Labor explained.

Earlier today, Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski, in response to a journalist’s question, said that at the next Government session on Tuesday, a decision will be made to form this year’s school basket

I think that within the framework of possibilities, all of this will be attractive for both parents and students, said Mickoski during a visit to Prilep.
