Investigations into suspicious car import allegations

The Customs Bureau informed that it has submitted 51 cases to the state prosecutors, in which there are suspicions of violations of the law on import of used vehicles.

Customs agents have worked for a year and half and have prepared evidence for these cases which is now submitted to the organized crime unit of the office of state prosceutors. According to Customs Bureau director Boban Nikolovski, if confirmed, the amount of unpaid customs duties in these 51 cases would reach 41 million denars.
