Vulnerable citizens urged to register for flu shots

Citizens belonging to high-risk groups can sign up for free seasonal flu vaccination via the link https://vakcinacija.mk/mk/registration-flu, the Ministry of Health announced. By filling out the form on the website, citizens register directly within the “Moj Termin” (My Appointment) system; subsequently, in accordance with the vaccination schedule, they will receive an SMS notification specifying the exact date and time for their vaccination at the location selected during registration.

Free seasonal flu vaccination is intended for the following high-risk groups: individuals over the age of 65, people with chronic illnesses, healthcare workers, pregnant women, and children aged six months to five years. Seasonal flu vaccination is the most effective preventive measure against the flu, preventing severe forms of the illness, complications, and fatal outcomes, particularly among high-risk groups, the Ministry stated.
