Six people died and one was injured in a fire in a building for temporary accommodation of workers on an agricultural property in the village of Malorechensky in the Republic of Tatarstan in Russia, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations announced.

According to initial data, the fire broke out due to a violation of the rules for working with electrical equipment.

The announcement states that there were 39 people in the building at the time of the fire, and that 33 got out of the building on their own, Tass reported.
