Several specialized IT news outlets have reported that Chris Pavlovski’s company, Rumble, has signed a strategic agreement worth $13.7 billion with one of the leading artificial intelligence development companies—Anthropic. According to information not yet confirmed by either company, Anthropic will utilize the capacity of Rumble’s growing data center division, specifically the large facility Rumble is currently building in the U.S. state of Georgia.
In late August, Rumble announced it had secured a major new client for its digital infrastructure but did not disclose the client’s name. Anthropic, founded by AI magnates Dario and Daniela Amodei, ranks among the top AI companies—alongside OpenAI, xAI, Google, and Meta. Its product, Claude, is currently considered the most advanced AI model for software development and other sophisticated services.
Under the agreement, Anthropic aims to meet part of the growing demand for Claude’s services by leasing capacity in Rumble’s data centers; the initial contract term is six years. Additionally, Anthropic has the option to purchase 50 million Rumble shares over the course of this six-year period. Rumble recently acquired the major German data center company Northern Data, which had initiated construction of the Maysville center in Georgia—a facility in which Entropic has expressed interest. Consequently, beyond its role as the owner of a video platform popular in American conservative circles and known for championing free speech, Rumble is increasingly transforming into a data center development company, with projects being developed under the “Quake AI” brand.
