“Today, I paid a working visit to the Municipality of Kichevo and inspected the reconstruction of Rudnichka Street,” wrote Aleksandar Nikoloski, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, on his Facebook profile. He added that this project is being implemented through the Ministry of Transport in cooperation with the municipality, with a total investment of approximately 30 million denars.
“Through various government programs, we are investing a total of around 360 million denars—or approximately 6 million euros—into the infrastructure development of the Municipality of Kichevo. This is the second phase of construction; the first phase, which we carried out in collaboration with the World Bank, has already been completed. Once the second phase is finished, we will have a magnificent boulevard running through this part of the city,” Nikoloski announced.
He emphasized that support for the Municipality will continue—in cooperation with the mayor, the Member of Parliament, and all others who support the municipality—with the aim of realizing new projects. “We are already discussing new projects, including the most significant ones for Kichevo: the Ohrid-Kichevo highway, where progress is moving at an excellent pace. There is also the Kichevo-Bukojchani highway, construction of which began on October 11th. We will continue to support Kichevo!” Nikoloski stated.
