Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski, who is at the helm of a Government delegation on a visit to the United States, held meetings in Congress in Washington with representatives Claudia Tenney and Keith Self.
I met with Congresswoman Claudia Tenney, Co-Chair of the Macedonia Friendship Group in the U.S. Congress. During the meeting, we discussed the traditionally strong and friendly relations between Macedonia and the United States, as well as the importance of parliamentary cooperation and the exchange of experiences between the two countries, Prime Minister Mickoski announced.
Mickoski added that the commitment to strengthening the partnership, respecting shared values, and building stable relations remains a vital foundation for future cooperation.
At the meeting, we discussed the significance of the strategic partnership between Macedonia and the United States, shared interests, and opportunities to further deepen cooperation in areas of importance to both our nations, the Prime Minister added.
