Sanitation inspectors destroy over 1,700 kilograms of food

After conducting over 600 inspections ahead of Easter, food inspectors found issues in 44 instances and ordered food removed from the shelves.

The cases of unsanitary food were found in 16 operators, and four of them did not conduct the necessary health examinations of their workers. A total of 25,400 EUR in fines were ordered, and 1,740 kilograms of food were destroyed.
