Swiss President Parmelin visits Macedonia

Swiss President Guy Parmelin visited Macedonia today, for meetigns focused on the economic development and improving trade between the two countries.

We are here to continue our cooperation and our bilateral relations. We have over 100,000 Macedonians in Switzerland, 40,000 of whom have Swiss citizenships, said President Parmelin, who raised the posibility of opening a Swiss chamber of commerce, as over 100 Swiss companies operate in Macedonia.

The President said that Switzerland supports Macedonia on its path to the European Union, as it also supports the stability and prosperity of the Balkans.

Prime Minister Mickoski said that the Government will work hard to strengthen and elevate the bilateral relations between the two countries.
