Construction crews started cleaning up the Vardar riverbed today, informed Skopje Mayor Orce Gjorgjievski.
The work will include heavy construction machines, and will make the river bed safer during the higher spring water levels. “This was an activity seen as necessary for years”, said the Mayor’s office.
