Electrobus – Ikarus and EVN were selected for the procurement of 150 electric busses and construction of 75 charging stations.
The joint bid was selected among four offers, after three companies failed to meet the requrements. Ikarus will provide the busses, while EVN will build the charging stations. The vehicles will need to meet EU environmental standards and carry at least 66 passengers. The procurement plan provides that the first 30 busses will be delievered within six months.
