Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Nikoloski announced that road work on the section between Ohrid and the monastery of Sveti Naum will be finished by the beginning of the summer season. This road is critical for connecting the beaches and hotels along Macedonia’s main tourism attraction – lake Ohrid.
The road is being reconstructed and expanded at various locations. This will improve its safety and ease the movement during the tourism season, Nikoloski said.
