VMRO-DPMNE responded to these statements, noting that it is alarming for a professor to fear being treated by his own future colleagues. This implies that he is incapable of imparting the necessary knowledge to them.

We hope that the new amendments to the Law on Higher Education will allow Filipche to retain his status as a professor; it is concerning, after all, that a medical school professor would fear having his colleagues treat us, while being unable—for reasons unknown to us—to impart the necessary knowledge to them.
