Andonovski: EU noted good progress in digital transformation

Minister of Digital Transformation Stefan Andonovski noted that the European Commission, in its latest assessments, has noted “good progress” by Macedonia in the field of digital transformation. He further stated that reforms aimed at the greater digitalization of public services will continue.

“The European Commission has noted ‘good progress’ by Macedonia in digital transformation. At today’s meeting regarding the Reform Agenda, we discussed the next steps: what needs to be completed, who is responsible, and the relevant deadlines,” Andonovski wrote on Facebook.

He indicated that future efforts will focus on increasing the number of services that citizens and companies can complete entirely online, improving connectivity between institutions, and further strengthening the protection of systems and data.

“Our goal is to be able to demonstrate what we have accomplished by the time the next report is issued. More importantly, citizens should be able to experience the benefits much sooner—through the time they save whenever they need to handle administrative tasks,” Minister Andonovski emphasized.
