Football: incident at the Vardar – Shkendija match

Vardar lost 0:2 against Shkendija at the Skopje stadium, and the match was followed by an incident.

The fight broke out just after the final whistle, as fists began to fly and a number of reserve players ran to the pitch to join the fray. It fell to the police to divide the warring teams.

During the game, Shkendija was by far the better team, scoring two goals through its Senegalese player Fabrice Tamba in the second half.
