Our country will be among the first nations to implement Starlink technology. The third mobile operator 4iG will utilize the Starlink network, which will make it significantly more competitive in terms of service, stated Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Aleksandar Nikoloski in a post on his Facebook page today.
Apart from Ukraine, Macedonia and Montenegro will be the first countries where Starlink is used directly. “Based on the information I have, they will be much, much cheaper than the two existing operators,” Nikoloski noted. Under the terms of the concession agreement, they were required to provide coverage for at least one city in the country by March, and to be operational nationwide by the end of the year. “They have chosen the city of Skopje,” the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport announced.
