An example of honesty and civic responsibility – a young man from Delchevo found personal documents and a significant sum of money and handed them over to the police, according to a statement issued today by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“Yesterday at 2:00 PM, an 18-year-old resident of Delchevo arrived at the local police station and turned in personal documents he had found, along with cash amounting to 114,000 denars and approximately 2,000 euros. Specifically, the young man discovered a travel document and an ID card belonging to another resident of Delchevo, as well as the aforementioned cash, on ‘Makedonija’ Boulevard in the town. Acting with integrity, he brought the items to the police station,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs commends this action, noting that it serves as a positive example of honesty, conscientiousness, and a highly developed sense of civic responsibility—qualities that are especially commendable in young people.”Such actions deserve public recognition and serve as an encouragement for fostering social values, mutual trust, and responsible behavior within the community,” the Ministry emphasized.
