Kocani: protest by the parents of the victims

Parents of young people who were killed in the Kocani nightclub disaster marched through the city today, in another move to demand justice.

Many expressed anger about the failure of the institutions to prevent the disaster, given that the nightclub which was obviously not up to standards was allowed to operate for years. Over four dozen state and local officials, as well as the owners of the club, are charged with causing the fire or failing to prevent it.
