Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski met in New York with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. The Prime Minister, who was accompanied by Foreign Minister Timco Mucunski, said that the purpose of his visit to the US is to strengthen the strategic partnership and the continuous political dialogue with the United States.
Direct communication at high political level is an opportunity to exchange views on issues of mutual interest, to deepen the bilateral relations and further strengthen our position as a stable and trustworty ally. In times of serious geopolitical challenges, strong partnerships and open dialogue with our strategic allies have added weight. Macedonia has clear interests as a state, and we continue to represent them with dignity, alongside our strategic partners. We continue to strengthen the Macedonian – American strategic partnership and to create new opportunities, said Mickoski.
