City workers are cleaning up the Vardar riverbed

Construction machines today moved into the Vardar riverbed, cleaning it up from debris and mud. Newly elected Mayor Orce Gjorgjevski promised to clean up the city in 72 hours and all city institutions are actively engaged.

I gave my word and today we are cleaning the Vardar riverbed and placing decorative lamppost on Macedonia Square. The best is yet to come, Gjorgjievski said.
