Several hundred activists of the SSM union gathered in Skopje today, to demand a steep increase in the minimum wage to 600 EUR per month.
The protest was marred by the open politization from SDSM and Levica, whose activists helped make up the numbers SSM apparently lacked. Numerous participants in the protest, that was supposed to include workers and union activists, came dressed in SDSM and Levica gear or were informing about their progress through Skopje on political social media groups.
