Famous Serbian singer Svetlana Ceca Raznjatovic was booed at the stage in Veles, after she raised the Bulgarian flag.
Ceca was performing at the packed Veles sports hall, when a fan passed her the green-white-red flag. She kissed and waved it before the crowd had a strong negative reaction – likely due to the years long Bulgarian veto of Macedonia’s EU integration. The loud boos prompted Ceca to stop her performance, and a band member took the flag from her and threw it to the ground.
