Fire left tens of thousands in Skopje without electricity

Fire in Skopje’s Aerodrom district affected power relay stations, and briefly left tens of thousands of citizens without electricity.

The fire broke out at the disused Vardariste dump site and EVN teams had to disconnect a local relay station to prevent greater damage. Dozens of firefighters were dispatched to stop the fire.
