The ongoing payment of financial support to farmers continues today, according to the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy.
A total of 625,043,081 denars in subsidies for crop production from the Financial Support Program for Agriculture for 2024 were paid to 32,798 farmers.
Payments were made to 23,626 beneficiaries in the amount of 392,148,316 denars for measure 1.1. Direct payments per arable agricultural area for all field crops, medicinal, aromatic and spice plants.
Additionally, funds were paid to 9,172 beneficiaries in the amount of 232,894,765 denars for measure 1.2 Additional direct payments from sub-measure 1.1. for the use of certified seed material, except for tobacco, as well as for the use of certified or uncertified seed material for rice.
The regular payment of subsidies to farmers is our obligation, reads the statement of the ministry.
