Mickoski: tourism grew by 13.5 percent

The number of tourists in Macedonia increased by 13.5 percent in the first half of 2025, said Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski. The increase in foreign tourists amounted to 19.7 percent, while domestic guests dropped by 2.5 percent.

If the number of foreign tourists grows by 20 percent each year, and if they find reason to visit the Macedonian cities and villages, the Macedonian lakes and mountains, that is all the more reason that all of us also enjoy the beauties of Macedonia, Mickoski said.
