Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski announced that Macedonia has joined the Single Euro Payments Area of the European Union that enable easier transfer of money – which is important given the high value of diaspora remittences sent to Macedonia every year.
This means that transfer of funds from our fellow citizens in the diaspora will be immediate, with no delay or additional costs. The same goes for our companies, said Prime Minister Mickoski. The decision goes into effect in October.
