It is not true that another person succumbed to injuries in the aftermath of Wednesday’s bus accident, and that the death toll has risen to 15, said Health Minister Venko Filipce, after a visit with Prime Minister Zoran Zaev and Deputy Prime Minister Bujar Osmani, to the injured persons who were hospitalized at Skopje’s “September 8th” hospital.

Prime Minister Zaev also thanked the emergency response team, the police, the firefighters, as well as the “September 8th” hospital and the Clinical Center, as well as the Tetovo hospital, but also the locals who provided assistence to the injured.

“I want to thank the “September 8th” hospital where we are now, the Clinical Centers, all other public institutions in Tetovo and Gostivar, as well as the police and firefighters and all other public services that provided help and participate in their rescue. On behalf of the Government, I want to thank for the solidarity and humanity of our fellow citizens from the village who were first to arrive at the scene and literally showed humanity, greatness. The government is ready to provide any help to the injured persons and to the families of the victims,” Prime Minister Zaev said.

Minister Filipce also expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and thanked the locals.
