VMRO-DPMNE President Hristijan Mickoski, accompanied by his deputy Aleksandar Nikoloski, met with Hungarian Prime Minister and Fidesz party leader Viktor Orban in Budapest today.

Following the meeting, Mickoski informed that they discussed the excellent, friendly relations of the two parties and Macedonia’s strategic interests.

We expressed gratitude for Hungary’s support of Macedonia, noting that it is a sign of true riendship. We expressed hope that this support will continue, considering that next year Hungary will hold the presidency of the European Union. During the meeting we also did a break-down of the cooperation between the two parties, and in the exchange of experiences that will be used to prepare the VMRO-DPMNE program for the next elections. We also discussed future plans and development projects that would be implemented as soon as there is change of Government in Macedonia, Mickoski said.
