While the names of the victims of the disastrous bus accident in Bulgaria still haven’t been released, the Foreign Ministry published the names of the survivors.

Seven people in total got out of the wreck of the bus alive – three of them apparently from the same family, and others, judging by their surnames, had family members who died. The survivors are Ebit Pajazitovski, Gula Jasarovska, Zulejha Jasarovska, Minir Jasarovski, Medina Ljutvij, Ljuljzim Sulejmani and Orhan Aliti. Sulejmani is a Serbian citizen, Aliti is a citizen of Belgium and the rest are Macedonian citizens. All are cared for at the Pirogov hospital in Sofia, and are reportedly in good condition. Most are in their 40ies, two are in their 20ies and one is aged 16.

Alsat TV published the list of all victims, but that has not been confirmed by the Government. According to Alsat, about half of the 45 victims are from Studenicani, near Skopje. Many of the victims were young people, going on a popular shopping and tourist route to Istanbul, and some were children, including in one case, four year old twins who died with their parents.
