Macedonia was affected by strong winds today, that caused some damage across the country.
The most dramatic incident happened in Ohrid, where the 38th Ohrid Swimming Marathon had to be cut short because of the storm, which caused high waves on the lake. “Rules state that if weather conditions do not allow the race to go ahead, it is interrupted”, said judge Marjan Bosalevski. The swimmers were at half of the stage when the storm was cut short.
