Out of 2,635 COVID-19 tests carried out in Macedonia in the past 24 hours, 277 new cases were registered and 8 patients passed away, the Health Ministry said on Saturday. 44 of the new cases were reinfections.

The Health Ministry added 6 deaths to the report, which occurred in February and in March. The patients were aged between 41 and 90.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Macedonia has registered 301,293 confirmed coronavirus cases. The death toll stands at 9,137. At the moment, there are 2,178 active cases across the country.
