Just as the US Embassy called out the judiciary in Macedonia for its extremely low level of public trust, footage from Palermo showed the different branches of the judiciary palling together.
In the stadium, watching the game, were Justice Minister Nikola Tupancevski, highly controversial prosecutor Fatime Fetai, and Lazar Nanev, president of the Kavadarci court.
The image is indicative of how the judiciary was used under the Zaev regime – especially Fetai, whose politically motivated charges, filed under the now disgraced Special Prosecutor’s Office, helped install the SDSM party in power.
