Defense Minister Slavjanka Petrovska and U.S. Ambassador Angela Aggeler are scheduled to pay a visit on Thursday to members of the United States Armed Forces for Europe and Africa, along with troops from the Army of Macedonia, currently engaged in the SNAP exercise ‘Brave Partner 23’ at the Krivolak army field.
Joining them at the event will be Brigadier General Patrick Ellis, the Deputy Chief of Staff – G3 at the U.S. Army Europe and Africa.
As a significant part of this exercise, units from the U.S. Army’s 2nd Cavalry Regiment will conduct a live-fire range utilizing Stryker vehicles. This holds substantial importance as per the Modernization Plan, which outlines the future equipping of the Army with these adaptable armored vehicles, as stated in a press release from the Ministry of Defense.
