In a shocking move, Skopje police summoned Aleksandar Tasevski, head of the air traffic control union, for questioning. The accusations against him are that he made the DUI party appointed heads of the M-NAV service “feel unsafe”.

Tasevski has been outspoken in the past months about the scandalous hiring process in this crucial institution that manages the safe passenger and cargo air traffic. He and others in the institution warned that the DUI party managers are rigging the hiring process, hiring people who did not even take the necessary exams and have rejected competent candidates in favor of their party activists. This became a rallying issue in the public pushback against corruption and nepotism in the DUI – SDSM Government, and even foreign ambassadors have raised it as an example of the rampant corruption in the country.
