First Deputy Prime Minister Artan Grubi dismissed his culture adviser, singer Shpat Kasapi, after Republika reported that last month he was detained in Skopje with drugs.

Kasapi (35) is a well known singer in Albania, and Grubi recently named him as an adviser in the powerful new role he is carving out for himself in Zaev’s cabinet. But after Republika published the arrest report, which states that Kasapi was carrying to packs of a white powder, which was later examined and turned out the be drugs, the Government informed that he has been removed from his position immediately.
