Professor Gordan Kalajdziev said on TV Sitel “Detektor” show that he considered the “Racket” affair to be shocking and devastating to the legal system.

Not only institutions, but also SPO  chief and hence a huge shock to the public both domestic and foreign. The government has not shown that it is capable of dealing with it. The case is dragging on only some of those involved are covered, although it is obvious that it is going deeper. Unfortunately, the procedure lasts very long and we have an unfinished procedure that gives the impression that justice is selective, said Kalajdziev.

Asked if “Racket” would bring down the government, Kalajdziev said:

When the SPO was formed to fight corruption in senior government, it failed to do so. We do not know if there is any connection between the SPO negotiations and Racket. I still do not understand why the fate of SPO is related to Katica Janeva? Why in Macedonia there is no person with integrity that will replace her and why to date no call has been issued for someone to replace her? Unfortunately between politics and law there are still many strands. Serious investigations into Racket have been stalled for fear of government collapse.
