German CDU member of Parliament Volkmar Klein says that VMRO-DPMNE currently maintains excellent relations with the other members of the European People’s Party.
Klein met with VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski and said he could sense his commitment to having Macedonia receive the date to open EU accession talks.

The issues which are important for me and for your country, the same priorities are upheld by VMRO-DPMNE. They want better economic and political conditions, a better judiciary and more jobs. CDU and VMRO-DPMNE have a very close cooperation at this moment, Klein said when asked about the international pressure Macedonia’s largest party was exposed to in the past.

Klein also endorsed the opening of accession talks with both Macedonia and Albania.
